This project was from August 2016. One of the members from my local Hackerspace asked if it’s possible to make a replacement cap for his gearshift stick. I took the original part that was cracked, modelled it in CAD and designed the gear markings as a separate part which can be made using 2 different coloured plastics via dual extrusion. The end part was chemically polished to provide a similar finish to the original piece.
