From October 2015, my biggest custom project since I got into 3D printing. This one was special. My partner and I are both fans of the Transformers franchise so I had the idea of designing a ring inspired by the Matrix of Leadership. The ring and gem were made in 2 pieces and designed to clip together after sanding. there were more than 12 versions made, each were primed, painted and coated and I picked the best looking 3 to hide in my backpack when we went on vacation. I also made a box for it that was designed by Matt Ruggles via Thingiverse.
For the record, she said yes 🙂
